Espero que la cinematografía pueda ofrecer un poco de lo que la lectura ha logrado, ya que muchas veces la transformación de un libro a una película deja mucho que desear; sin embargo habrá que esperar para ver que sucede en este caso.

he caido en esta pagina por casualidad, la verdad es que buscando informacion sobre Chicago.
A ver si os puedo aclarar algunas cosas del casting (que por lo que he leído ha generado enfados), ya que estuve desde el principio al final, y voy a estar como parte del elenco femenino.
No he ido a la escuela de Coco con anterioridad. Que yo sepa, salvo una, no hay más personas de su escuela que vayan a formar parte del equipo.
Y aunque no conozco aun a todo el equipo, si estuve en la final con las otras 17 chicas de las que salió el elenco femenino, y absolutamente todas bailan, cantan e interpretan.
Los castings fueron muy duros desde el principio, hasta el ultimo, que resulto no ser el ultimo porque querian vernos un dia más antes de decidir.
En todas las fases se ha pedido bailar y cantar, y en la ultima de cuerpo de baile (no se como han sido los castings de personaje) también interpretar uno de los monólogs del tango de la carcel.
En cada casting (salvo el primero que era para seleccionar, puesto que se presentaron casi 2000 personas entre Madrid y Barcelona) los directores del equipo de Broadway y el director musical del equipo de Londres, han sido quienes han ocupado la mesa central y tomado las decisiones.
Y en el ultimo casting ya ni siquiera podias competir más, puesto que, de las 17 que fuimos, las 8 que cogieron fue más una cuestión de encajar en el perfil del grupo que querian montar con las protagonistas, que tu capacidad o artisteo para mostrar algo más que el resto.
Y aunque da mucha rabia, tanto quedarse a las puertas, como que te viren en la primera fase de algo que te hace mucha ilusión, es más productivo vivir a fondo la experiencia, sumergirte en ello hasta donde llegues, pero con buena energia.
Una critica constructiva, que aporte perspectivas nuevas sobre como mejorar la calidad del espectaculo en Barcelona, en Madrid…o un inercambio de opiniones…eso nos sirve a todos…pero despotricar…
Mejor ir a clase, llegarás antes a donde quieres llegar.
O a bailar!

Con todo mi buen rollo, espero que (espero que los problemas momentaneos de produccion se arreglen y todo siga adelante) el enfado por los castings quede arreglado

En el musical Spamalot, en Fama, en Grease… todos con el casting llevado por la productora de la Coco Comin… que casualidad que la mayoría de bailarines sean de la escuela de la Coco Comin, no? e incluso profesores…como pasó en el musical de chicago primero…

cuando veo un casting que lo lleva la la Coco, no sé por que pero pienso que son una perdida de tiempo, teniendo en cuenta que cogeran una gran parte de gente de la Coco, así como tambien juegan con ventaja al conocer el estilo de la Coco, sus diagonales, sus pasos…e incluso una bailarina muy buena que fue en un casting me lo dijo: les gustó, pero no la cogieron por no ser de la coco…

No es una crítica, pero un poco pienso como el primer mensaje, aunque seguramente, habrá gente que no serà de la coco y se lo habrà currado… pero casualidades de la vida que en grease, fama i spamalot… la mayor parte sean de allí…

entiendo que miren por los de su escuela… pero no hagan perder el tiempo… y los comentarios los hago como espectadora de musicales, así como antigua alumna de la Coco, que des de dentro podía ver el parcal…así como sólo hace falta leer los curriculums de los actores…
